Bedroom Set - Complaint
PENSACOLA, FLORIDA -- On 08/13/10 I purchased bedroom set with mattress for the amount of $4,051.20 My salesman was Thomas Dutton. On 08/29/10 my furniture was delivered and the mirror which goes on top of the dresser was cracked into couple places. The delivery team assured me to keep the broken piece and that somebody Tom will take care for it within the next week. Tom called me only 1 week later and scheduled the repair man to come out only for October 6Th 2010. Well when the repair man showed up, he took the mirror out and assured me that the company will order new mirror and I will have it back within 2 days. I haven't heard from Tom for 2 weeks. After I called he told me that it's too expensive to fix mirror for them and they will order a whole new piece from the manufacturer which will take another 2 weeks. When I called today on October 29Th, Tom was extremely rude and unhelpful. Now he was telling me that it will take extra 6-8 weeks to get my mirror and he refused to tell me the exact date or month. After I mentioned to him that my husband has been serving his country in Iraq for the last 6 month and bedroom is a Christmas gift for him when he comes back he mentioned that this is my problems and all I can do is Wait. After I offered to him to give me discount so I can take the mirror myself to get it fixed at the glass place he refused to do so. It's been over 2 month and I still have broken mirror. The company refused to fix it in a timely matter. I have been a good customer for them and purchased all my furniture there, but now I'm very disappointed. In order for company to fix their own mistake and pay to fix mirror in timely matter they treat their military customers like that.
