Hire Rite Complaint - Unfounded Reports - Driver History Report or DAC

Review by Nasty51ford on 2010-11-01
IRVINE CA -- Hello, no one seems to be doing anything about this company, although there is a supposed class act lawsuit going on against them. What is basically a good idea, is being terribly abused by trucking companies all over the country. Trucking companies can report to this company anything they see fit about a driver, whether it is true or not, without having to back it up with any proof, or documentation, and it goes on what is called a driver's DAC report, for the insurance companies to see. My son in law is now a victim of this through Service Trucking in Eustis, Fl, he was involved in an accident, wherein a witness told the state trooper who arrived at the scene, that there was no possible way that it could have been avoided, in addition to that, no citation was written against my son in law, so Service Trucking decided to put "preventable accident" on his DAC report, and Hire Rite happily obliged, and put it on there, just like that !! I have driven tractor trailer for over 20 years, and I won't now, it is nothing like it use to be. Now my son in law can't get a job, and the only way to get this off a DAC report is to dispute it, and if the trucking company that put the false information doesn't respond within 30 days to the dispute, it comes off, other than that, it will stay on! Some System! They need a system that requires documentation, before a company like Service Trucking, or many others decide they want to ruin some one's career, just because they are mad at you. Something needs to be done, BEWARE !!
