Sears Complaint - Do Not Buy Any Electronics From Sears With Extended Warranty. Poor Service
I sent in my camera over a month ago. Did not receive any notice, phone call, or email about status. I finally called and the Customer service representative stated that all I needed to do was go into another Sears to pick up a camera. They could not replace my camera. Went into a Sears, and they were like.. we need an authorization number. Check #1.
Check #2, called on Thursday. Luckily, the guy there knew what he was doing. He gave me another 1-800 number to call with the wrong extension. They transferred me over, stated that it would take 24-48 hours to call me back.
Check #3- No phone call received. Was given 5 different 1-800 numbers to call, went back to the original one that was on the booklet. She transferred me over to a "specialist" who did not know what was happening to my situation. Stated that she would call me within 30 minutes.
Do you have to be switched 5 different times, and not get anywhere? Just give me the darn refund then. No one should have to go through this. Sears needs to get their act together. I have NEVER had this problem with Best Buy before. I would suggest do NOT buy the extended services. Sears customer service does not know what they are doing, you get transferred to different departments because it's easier for them to give you the run around. Poor customer knowledge, if you transfer someone to a specialist.. they should know what's happening and how to deal with it.
