Gandolfo's Compliment - Gandolfo's has the friendliest service in town!

Review by bhskittykatt on 2010-11-01
BELLINGHAM, WASHINGTON -- I live in on the south side of town and don't normally don't venture out on the Guide Meridian. When I do, though, I ALWAYS stop at Gandolfo's to take refuge from the traffic craziness. It's my haven on the north end of town!

Even though I only go there a couple times a month, the manager always remembers me, waving as I walk in and asking how things have been since my last visit. He's super friendly, which I think rubs off on the other employees because they're all so nice. They always ask to make sure things are satisfactory, and wish us well on our way out the door. It's just all-around awesome service.

The food is great. The sour cream & potato salad is genius and delicious. The sandwiches are always yummy, and there's so many sandwiches to choose from it's hard to decide. I hope to eventually try them all. The New Yorker is my favorite sandwich so far. I haven't tried the gelato yet...the sandwiches are so filling there's never any room left, but someday I hope to try some.

I really wish I could just come in with a big truck and take the whole store (and staff) down to the south end of town so I don't have to drive so far for yummy sandwiches. I'm sure that wouldn't work as well as it does in my head, though, so I guess I'm stuck with traversing the scary traffic to get to this location. It's definitely worth the drive, and I plan to stop here next time and every time I'm in the neighborhood.
