Sprint Complaint - I Couldn't Wait Anymore!!
I went to the Sprint store on my lunch break today (1/2 hour break, 2 miles away)in juno beach FL to buy a new charger for my phone. I thought it would be just a quick 5 min (if that!)purchase and I would be on my way. NOT! first of all, not ANY of the 3 people that were working (2 with customers, 1 with none)even looked up, greeted me, etc. I asked one girl if I could just get a charger and she mumbled something about a check in list. I then walked across the store to the young man who had no customers and asked if I could get a charger and he said I had to get on the list and asked me for my first name. OK, I'll wait a little bit and maybe it will go quick. NOT! I looked up at the board and saw my name was #5. I knew then I wasn't going to be able to stay. the 2 other reps were going over plans and charges, etc. there was a sign that said it takes between 30-45 minutes for a transaction! I just wanted a charger! I didn't say anything, not wanting to sound like I was trying to "butt" ahead in line to the other customers waiting. in the meantime, a young woman with 3 small children walked in and said she had an apt! (by this time the representative that had no one, now had a client in front of him. the young woman seemed a little mad, but the reps had other clients in the middle of signing them up. I guess she was going to be next, so now I was #4, but really 5 again, because of her. I just want a charger! even IF they had it on the wall with other accessories, I still would have had to wait! I guess what I'm saying is that I wish they had a different policy for customers that just need accessories, maybe like a cashier or something. if I had waited, and the wait was 45 minutes per person, I guess I would have been a little late back from my lunch break! lol!
i guess I will go to Radio Shack tommorrow and try my luck there!
thanks for the vent!
