I worked for large hospital in central pa near hershey, anyway I have degenerative disc decease every level of my back is damaged. social security approved me for disability 1st time, I have had 6 back operations and 2 neck fusions, the hospital I worked for had liberty mut as their disability ins for employees, all liberty would have had to do was pay the difference between my ss pmt and my take home pay(about 200.00 a month) well they took this to federal court, it just happened that their lawyer went to law school and had jobs in same law firm in phila with the federal judge evette kane that was given my case!my lawyer who was a retired district judge (john dowling) thought thats why they went to federal ct, needless to say the judge ruled in their favor saying just because ss approved me doesn't mean I meet their disability standards!!my lawyers previous case was a couple that their house burned down and Liberty Mutual was their ins, anyway Liberty Mutual sd it was arson!!! with no facts to back up statment, this case was in county court and the couple won big time!! DO NOT TRUST LIBERTY MUTUAL!!! the cfo of my hospital was so pissed they wouldn't pay my claim she changed to different disability ins, they lost about 7,000 employees(or customers) liberty even hired a private detective that followed me to the pain clinic a few times!!! craig howard

That is a shame about Liberty Mutual, but how great that the CEO of the hospital you worked at showed her support by changing insurance companies, you don't hear things like that too often.
