Lonnie Sears Transmission Service Complaint - Don't Get Ripped Off!!!!

Review by Sandygirly on 2010-11-04
ARDMORE, OKLAHOMA -- I paid $1500 for transmission repair. He kept my vehicle 4 weeks. After picking it up from the shop I found that the reverse did not work properly and it was leaking transmission fluid. I let him know about the problems and he said go ahead and drive it. I did and finally contacted him to make appointment to take it in for the warranty work. He said, Oh, give me another couple of weeks and then bring it in. I did as he said and took it in after the initial two weeks, he kept it another week, but called and said he didn't have time to get to it. I picked it up and drove it the weekend and took it back to his shop last Sunday evening. I called today to see if it was ready and he said, Oh, I'll have it back together tomorrow. My next call is going to be to my attorney. If you don't need your vehicle go ahead and take it to this Joker, and send me the money!!!!

Didn't think Sears worked on transmissions.

Indeed they do Genuine.

Misread the original post...I know that Sears services transmissions (such as changing the fluid), but didn't think that they replaced or repaired them. The complaint was about "Lonnie Sears", not Sears Roebuck.

Oh! Sears does service all makes and models, not available in all locations though.

It was about Lonnie Sears Transmission Service in Oklahoma. Not Sears & Roebuck. This was to REBUILD a transmission, not to service.
