WARREN, MICHIGAN -- On November 2, 2010, my wife ad I went to Bob Evans 25700 Dequindre road in Warren Michigan. Once we were seated, we were not waited on for 1o minutes, finally I went and found the hostess and asked her to get us a waitress. Also noticing why we were not getting waited on the young manger and his waitresses were just having a good old time behind the counter laughing and playing around. This was 7:00 pm and the restaurant was pretty empty.

After the hostess told a waitress we were getting frustrated about the service, we still did not get any service. We then asked the hostess for the manager. Told him about the service and we left. This completely ruined our evening. This manager should definitely have this brought up to his boss.

Sounds typical of the Bob Evans in Maryland as well. We went one time and the service was so slow... when we finally got our food, the carrots on my wife's plate were shriveled and dark brown. We asked for a manager and when she arrived, she was clearly embarrassed. We left and have not been back.

This is a good complaint. I had a similar problem at my local Ruby Tuesday's. The manager was a screw-off and focused on chatting with the servers. I reported my several bad experiences to a regional manager, who acted concerned. I never went back and do not intend to do so.
