Ashley Furniture Complaint - Rude - Warranty Program
WOODBRIDGE, NEW JERSEY -- I Purchased my bedroom and dining room set about 2 years ago of coarse with the protection plan. Well when I was in there looking to buy a living room set I mentioned that the top wood portion of my bedroom set mirror cracked and could they fix it. So they look up my information tell me yes my protection plan is still good and they can send someone out, if they can't fix it they will replace it. I thought wonderful all I have to do is call the claims dept. So the next day I make the call and had to leave a message. The following day some woman calls back and doesn't even tell me where shes calling from rambling about a receipt. So I was a little confused asking wait who are you? She yells in the phone Ugh didn't you call us yesterday. so than yes it rang a bell who I did call, it didn't help she didn't introduce herself a had a crying baby on my hip and a barking dog in the back round so anyways. She says you need the receipt and well consider putting in a claim well wait they didn't tell me this the said i'll send someone out and I don't have they receipt they already gave me a reference number at the store. she says that does nothing for her and that's what I need to do. So now I'm pretty angry and call the store well now no one will call me back or they keep me on hold so long I have to hang up! I'm so angry I feel lied to. and not to mention why pay for a protection plan they won't honor. Also I tried calling a different location and they said they can't help me that there franchised and that's not the same owner! What the hell does that mean to me?! So need less to say I will never shop there again and will tell everyone I know how horrible the Ashley Furniture Homestore in Woodbridge NJ is!
