Maaco Informative - Response
"Alright! For all of you complainers out there!! Maaco is a different type of collision center, and what I mean is your dealership driven and your insurance driven collision centers are exactly what I said that they are. MAACO IS 75% RETAIL DRIVEN and by doing this they are able to give you the consumer options for repairing your vehicles. so basically you get what you pay for. if you go in there thinking that you are going to get a show car repair for 700 dollars your completely wrong quality repairs take a little time ill give you an example you go in and say paint my fender they will say OK no problem 200$ then they will say do you want that dent fixed in it? you say yes! they say OK 250$ they say do you want to blend the hood and door for color match you say NO they say OK and so on. they are sales people just like many of you out there they are just doing there jobs the way their company tells them too. nobody works for free people. maybe you should think of that!!!!! would you I DONT THINK SO. "
They are doing their job? I'm guessing by what you are saying their job is to tell customers what they will get, when in reality customer are not getting what was agreed upon. Isn't part of their job to satisfy customers? Yes you get what you pay for, but why advertise something that you aren't actually getting? Maaco advertises great paint jobs at an afforable price. Tell me; orange peel, fish eye, overspray, are those great in a paint job? That's like someone saying they are selling a great running car at an afforable price, yet when you buy it and find out it overheats, leaks oil, blows fuses. Is that a great running car? It is also their job to paint cars the way it is advertised. Seems to me you must have an association with Maaco to defend them with what you are saying. I don't believe all Maaco's are bad, but majority of the places I've seen, heard about, or even had experience from have a bad reputation. On top of that the corporation has no interest in customer satisfaction. Of all paint shops, Maaco has one of if not the worst customer service.
