Home Depot Complaint - Online Discount offers
I receive a Home Depot online email with an offer including this product 50% discount price around 1pm. I select this item and it went to my shopping cart. I went to the patio to take some measurement to verify it fix in my area, about 5 minutes, I decide to continue with my purchase and press continue to go to the next step to pay. What a surprise! price turned into the original price! I start chatting with a Home Depot customer service representative about this issue and after 30 minutes chatting I was tall to contact customer services. I request a manager and I was transfer to a customer services representative via chat. After an hour of insisting offer me 25% discount finally I get a manager. The item that was posted at $1220 was offer to me in the amount of $1640 plus taxes etc.
I get really disappointed and spend about 3.5 hours of my time and and neither sending them the prof via e-mail, I did not get the 50% discount that was posted at HD Website. So I did not bought the item. The last person, the manager I spoke to was disregardful and ignore all my explanations. I will never trust or visit any online special offer poster at Home Depot website again.
