River Oaks Honda Complaint - I Am Glad I Am Smart And Didnt But From Here!
LANSING, ILLINOIS -- I flew in from out of town after speaking with Jeremy for almost 2weeks. I should have known by his pushy nature that he wasn’t knowledgeable about the car I was purchasing (Mercedes S600). I flew in and he didn’t even come into the airport to get me?! How was I supposed to know where I was going? We get into his car and he has a BREATHALIZER MONITOR, attached in his car that he is actively blowing in to keep the car on. POOR FIRST IMPRESSION!!! The car was BEAUTIFUL but the keys didn’t work. The key wasn’t coded for the damn car? Couldn’t lock it or pop the trunk. What they didn’t know is that I already made an appt with a local Benz dealer to give the car a good once over before I signed anything. The car has 3 MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE. A BAD BELT, A BENT RIM, AND A BAD TIRE! So the manager( I assume Tony Preston) tried to explain to me that all of these items are considered WEAR AND TEAR Items!! So I asked the representative from the Benz dealer if this car is safe to drive home and his exact words were "Ooh hell no!" So we get back to the dealer and the master tech named Jerry explained to me that he changed and checked all the belts on the engine, what he didn’t know is that I baited him and told him it is more than one belt on the car. So the deal went south and then they wouldn’t even take me to a hotel!! Thank God one was behind the dealer!! The next day they call me on speaker trying to apologize and make a deal. I kindly let them know that they are not getting one dime from me until those repairs are done by someone NOT THEM!!! THEY ARE ALL LIARS AND CHEATS! BUYER BEWARE PLEASE!!!!! THEY ARE SNEAKY AND WILL TELL you WHATEVER YOU WANNA HEAR TO GET YOUR $$. A total waste of $ and my time!!! I wanna fly back to Lansing just to spit on them!!!!
