Tree Classics Complaint - Defective Lighting
In the summer of 2008, we purchased an expensive prelit 7.5' Kensington Blue Spruce Christmas tree from Tree Classics. It was lovely in 2008 and 2009, but when we put it up this year, entire sections of lights were out in random sections of the tree and the branches were very loose. We changed the fuses, checked for loose or broken bulbs, but with more than 150 bulbs out, it became increasingly clear that we would have to purchase new lights to thread through the broken ones. This was an expensive tree. I called customer service ... I was told that I could pack up and ship this lemon back to their warehouse -- at my expense -- where they would re-wire the tree and send it back to me. I don't think so! Our Christmas tree has now cost us more than $250.00 per year for the two years it worked. This is one company I will never order from again.
