Skechers Complaint - Skechers Shape Ups - Shape Up Shoes

There have been a lot of complaints about the durability of these shoes...which is disappointing because Skechers is generally a good brand of shoe that doesn't break the bank.

I haven't bought these though, cuz quite frankly they are not very attractive looking. Reebok makes one called Easytones for about the same price and they look like normal runners and have the same effect.

The same effect being not much of an effect at all! I read that they don't do anything close to what they claim to. The Reetones are nice looking though, and the commercials with all the fabulous butts makes me want to run out and buy them.

I just read an article that says that those shoes aren't any better than normal tennis shoes. Sure wish I had seen that before I shelled out a C note for my sketchers.

I don't think they do anything special for my bubble butt, but they are, by far, the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned.

I own two pairs of Shape-Ups, including one pair that I wore a lot. I tend to wear down the heels on regular shoes; after several months of wear, my Shape-Ups still show less wear. There is some wear on the edges and the bottom of the sole, but not to the point where the whole heel is worn on one side. Because Shape-Ups have offset heels, they tend to wear longer for me. I've been happy.
