Wayne Mazda Complaint - Wayne Mazda lies - Don't go there!
WAYNE, NEW JERSEY -- I was in the market for a new CX-9. After much searching, I went to overstock.com for auto buying service. They had Wayne Mazda as the best deal. Although it was 65 miles from where I live, I contacted them via Email. Within few minutes we exchanged emails back and forth. Long story short, I was happy with the price I got from Overstock.com auto price guarantee from Wayne Mazda. When it comes to a trade in, they absolutely lie. I told the person on the other end how much they are looking for in my trade in? They state they cannot commit without looking at the car, but they promise they go by Kelly Book Price. I told them, I would be making 1.5hour drive and I would hate to not do the deal. If you can come close to Kelly's price, they would have the deal. No problem. Just to be sure, I print out everything from Kelly Blue book website.
When I arrived, the person I was emailing back and forth all of sudden introduces me to another sales person. Immediately, he wants my driver license and personal information. Hold on, I want to see the car first. He says, he would need my driver license before he let me see the car. Ok, I won't drive the car, you drive the car, I'll sit in the front seat. After 30 minutes, where 20 minutes he had to stop by a gas station, we arrive back at the dealership. He brings a manager over, who asked about a trade in. KBB has a price of trade in at $9000. I want something close to that. Manager doesn't even look at my car, and he immediately says my car is not even worth 1/2 that.
What!? You says you go by Kelly pricing.. and now you lie to me? you make me drive 1.5hours to waste my time? I was mad.. and the insult was he didn't even look at my car. He could've told this via email. I don't understand why they need to waste my time. Do they think that all of sudden I'll come to the showroom and accept their lies? I walked out angry and never going back there again..
