Maytag Complaint - Washboard Would be Better
We lost EVERYTHING in Katrina. When we started replacing items, we decided to be "smart" and spend a little more than our previous washer/dryer set so that it would "last." We bought a Maytag Neptune Washer. What an absolute joke! LAST -- not likely. This is the crappiest machine we've ever owned. We've had it repaired 3x at a tune of $150-$200 a pop. Now, the computer board won't stop ringing. The machine works but the ringing is a slow torture that is making us all crazy. So, another $75 service call to be informed that it would cost $350 to replace the board. I want to take a hammer and smash the thing into about a million pieces. I'm on hold right now to voice my complaint to Maytag, which I've done before. They are about as sympathetic as a lion who hasn't eaten in one week. I am like the small rabbit about to be pounced upon, but hey, I'm going to give it a shot. My words of wisdom:
DON'T, DON'T, DON'T, DON'T, DON'T, DON'T, DON'T, DON'T, BUY A MAYTAG.
