Jack In The Box Informative - Customer Manners are non-existent - And their tacos suck!

And their tacos suck!
Review by CrystalSword on 2010-11-16
CENTRALIA, WASHINGTON -- We went to Jack In The Box today for the free taco giveaway....the restaurant was jam packed with teens, who were cutting in line, pushing people out of the way and stepping on your feet.

These "children" are supposed to be the future leaders of our great Country and they acted like a bunch of snot-nosed brats, demanding free tacos, some going back and giving a different name to get even more free.

Starlord and I finally got to the counter, after being pushed and stepped on....not by one but by several. I felt for the older lady taking orders, the kids were demanding tacos and "courtesy cups" for water, and they were going straight to the soda fountain and helping themselves to cup after cup pf soda and ice....the machine is not in direct view of the counter and the kids were taking advantage of this.

When we placed our order for the tacos, we also got the new eggnog milkshakes....complete with whipped topping and a cherry on top! OMG, the shakes were to die for, they were wonderful....and well worth the wait.
The tacos were greasy, had huge chucks of lettuce and nothing identifiable
as meat and cheese, and were extremely spicy.

This was more if a vent than anything....we raised our children to have manners, they opened doors for anyone looking like an adult, and there was no pushing and trampling on people when they were in public...and I am proud to see our son raising his daughter the same way.

I've had my say...now I'll go sit in my corner and shut up!

Yaya, we all know how you loved that free 99 cent LSJ taco.

I like it when Jack in the Box has those green milkshakes; the mint ones with oreo cookies

We don't have any JITB here, but the pictures of the tacos don't look appetizing. Sometimes I'm ashamed of my generation.

2 for 99 cents grease pockets and people turn into animals because they have FREE attached to them. Sounds normal.

I dunno if this is a rumor or its true but I heard they put fake meat in their tacos some kind of soy based substitute.
Posted by Alain on 2010-11-17:
When they have an event like this they should be prepared to have some crowd control. They created a potentially dangerous situation.
Posted by Lifemates on 2010-11-17:
When they act like that, they should have a separate section for the kids.
Posted by littleshorty on 2010-11-17:
I heard it was soy, not beef

A taco at Junk in the Box??? That's worse than bbq flavored sandwich at McDumb's.

Back in the day Jack's deep fried tacos were pretty good.
Posted by Bud_the_Bullet on 2010-11-17:
Back in the days of my financially challenged stint in Phoenix, the economically friendly tacos were quite the feast.

*Looking back, smiling and appreciating at where I've been, where I'm at, and where I'm headed*

Every cloud has a silver lining...

Just think of those snot-nosed little brats, the future of tomorrow, as being creative and innovative thinkers by being intelligent and saavy enough to come up with the idea of changing names in order to receive another drink at no cost. Unethical, but nothing compared to the unethical business practices of many adults in today's economy:)

I went to Church's for lunch, they are now serving Tacos. Didn't get one though.
Posted by cevicherick on 2010-11-17:
Yeah, chopped up chicken strips in a tortilla.
Wise choice.

I tried the Strawberry shortcake there once, all it is, is a biscuit put in a cup with whip cream and strawberry's found that quite odd.
Posted by cevicherick on 2010-11-17:
KFC's dessert cups used to be pretty good.
Posted by littleshorty on 2010-11-17:
Wally, my mom used to make stawberry shortcake with biscuits, stawberries, and whip cream
Posted by Wally86 on 2010-11-17:
I'm used to having mine with sponge cake. Didn't know they had a Biscuit version till I tried it at Church's I prefer the sponge cake better.

I like it with angel food cake
Posted by ript on 2010-11-17:
Sponge cake is good wally, but try it sometime with angelfood cake.
Posted by cevicherick on 2010-11-17:
Sponge cake is what most places use, correct?

Twinkies are of the sponge cake variety.

I'm trying to give up sugar. This conversation is not helping!
Posted by cevicherick on 2010-11-17:
Sugar? Goodbye good food, huh?
Posted by littleshorty on 2010-11-17:
Well I can't give up all sugar obviously. I've given up all sweets, soda, candy, etc.
Posted by cevicherick on 2010-11-17:
There is no sugar added to my CEVICHE.
Posted by littleshorty on 2010-11-17:
You can make me ceviche anytime
Posted by cevicherick on 2010-11-17:
Alrighty.

I was so upset by those brats, that when we left, I bulled though the group standing right in the doorway. One smart-a$$ punk snapped, "You could ask someone to move," to which I replied,"No one asked me to move, but I have a bad toenail that you kids have been trampling on since we got here and ribs aching from your elbows. You guys didn't care to be courteous, now you don't like it when you get it back in kind." NOt to mention the kids screeching at theops of their lungs, each trying to be heard over everyone else. The old saying is indeed true, youth IS wasted on the young.

Yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Eggnog shakes!!!! They really should offer a shot of Southern Comfort in them!
Posted by jktshff1 on 2010-11-17:
I wish I would have been there Starlord.
Posted by cevicherick on 2010-11-17:
Stalord, I feel your pain. Try riding the bus with about 20 teenagers going or coming from school. They won't move out of your way, the profanity makes me blush and the "N" word pops out every 5 seconds it seems.
You can see the displeasure on the older peoples faces.
No self respect let alone for others.
Posted by stiger on 2010-11-18:
And that's why I refuse to have kids. Who wants their kid growing up with others that have no manners or morals?
Posted by jktshff1 on 2010-11-18:
stiger, I will guarantee that my 36 yr old daughter and 35 yr old son will still say yes maam and sir, hold the door for the elderly etc.
It's the "training" that the child gets from their parents. A kid don't know better until it is "explained" to them.

THE WAY I SEE IT IS, THAT THE HUMAN GROWTH POPULATION IS A EPIDEMIC. THEY DONT EVEN KNOW WHAT THERE EATING ANYMORE AND DONT CARE.
