Juniper Bank Complaint - Unfair or Unlawful Pactices - Credit card interest and pactices

Credit card interest and pactices - Complaint
Review by minj on 2010-11-17
PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA -- I received a great offer from Juniper at 0% interest for 1 year, didn't last but 3 months. They change the due date causing the account to be posted with a late payment. Then it all went down hill from there. I paid off 1/2 half of the amount owed to them yet the interest rate at present is 30.24% (loan sharking at its best!) I contacted Juniper to no avail, they wouldn't even lesson, only stated that a letter notifying me of the interest increase had been sent out. I take care of my credit and all accounts yet somehow I missed these letters? Which, I am convinced were never sent, but how do you prove it. Please whatever your situation is or the offer from Juniper keep in mind, "If it sounds too good to be true it probably is". Do not walk away, run! Someone, anyone, interested in pursuing this with a class action lawsuit for their practices please count me in.

Perhaps someone has been looking through your mailbox, stealing your billing statement. This is why it is a good idea to get your billing statements online.
