HSBC North America Complaint - HSBC Best Buy Experience
Unbelieveable! I just got off the phone with HSBC Best Buy. After spending 40 minutes with 4 people on debt cancellations charges... additional interest charges and total payments made on a 3 yr account. I was told that the 320.00 discrepancy between our calculations (yes, all 4 people agreed that there was 320.00 in payments that they do not know where it was applied), was impossible because their "super computers" were never wrong, and "there had to be a reason" as to why the additional 320.00 was not applied to the balance.
I have never heard from a company that they were "never wrong" and "never make mistakes". Yet here it is, full blown that 4 representatives admit to a 320.00 difference between our calculations and their "uber computer".
To me, this sound like another arrogant company who encourages retail employees to lie and withhold information so they could milk extra money for an already tapped out consumer. I thought they were supposed to come forth with accurate information? Maybe they didn't have to since this was before credit card legistlation?
