Buy.com Complaint - They don't care about their customers.
I purchased a Garmin GPS for running and paid 143.99. A few days later I got an email from Buy.com that showed the exact one I bought for 127.99. I contacted Buy.com and asked them to credit me the difference. I figured just like any other retailer, if you buy something and then it goes on sale within a reasonable amount of time, they will give you the sale price. To put this in context, I have bought $1000(s) of dollars worth of products from Buy.com. Annie (the supervisor I spoke with) told me that it was policy to not credit the money and even when I asked her if she was willing to lose a long time customer over $16 she said (in not so few words) YES. I then emailed my disappointment to Buy.com and figured that they would at least look into this. They just closed my account.
