Best Buy Complaint - Do You Work Here? - Telephone and computer sales
SANTA ROSA, CALIFORNIA -- Today I went to buy a cell phone at Best Buy in Santa Rosa, California. I walked around the phone area for about 20 minutes. There were young boys with their Best Buy T-shirts on. Three of these boys were talking to one another. Not one of them came to ask me if I was interested in the telephones. Last month I went to buy a computer. There were young men and women with their Best Buy T-shirts on, all talking to one another. After looking around for some time I finally went up to a group of 3 and asked if they could help me. The look they gave me, was "How dare you interrupt us." They all looked around at each other, finally one young woman came to help me. Her attitude was so poor. She was mad that I took her away from her group. I walked out of the store completely frustrated. Today, when not one of those young me came to help, I decided not to interrupt their important conversation so they could make a sale.
I am not one to complain without a solution. I believe these sales people need to go on commission. This way they would make an effort to help the customers and the customers could buy what they came in for. Instead of doing that, they just stand around and talk to each other ignoring their customers.
Too bad for Best Buy, I did not buy a computer or cell phone there. I have a business and would buy more of the same from Best Buy, but not until their sales people learn to treat their customers like customers.
