Comcast Corporation Complaint - Comcast Connects Me And Then Disconnects Me... I'm Over It!!!!
We moved to a new house, we called Comcast to hook us up on July 6th/2010. The Tech came out and told us that he couldn't find our tap to our underground cable and that someone would have to come out and put a new one in. We waited the 15 days like they said....Nothing!! called them back, and the lady said we show that there was no install requested. I told her what happened, and we went back on the waiting list. 15 days later Nothing. Called them back, was told again that no install had been requested..I was told this same story 5 times after this. I was mad at this point.
So the lady sent out a Tech (which was a sub-contractor for comcast). He put in a line on top of the ground, and told us we had service now and to just wait for the crew to bury it. We had service at last......NOT!!! a few days later out neighbor got Comcast as well(how he did that is a mystery to us), however when we got home that afternoon the cable tech had taken out cable up and diconnected us.
So I called and explained what happened, she said they where showing that customer called in for disconnect service. I was HOT!!!! I told her NO we wanted to be connected and was connected until the Tech disconnected us that day. So a few days later finally they came out buried our cable wire and we had service.....NOT!!!
3 days later out neighbor across the street had internet problems and a Comcast tech came out to repair it. We came back again that day to...you guessed it No service! I called again...same story! So got the Techs number who unhooked us and he said he didn't know why this was happeneing and that he was puzzled by it all and that he would get back with me the next day.....guess what? never heard from the tech again. So I called back requesting I talk to Sup. they took my name and number and promised a call back from them in 4 hrs.....NOTHING!! Finally we get a call, a tech came out got our old equipment and left saying he would be back the next day to put in our service. HA here is the end of all ends for me....he calls back and says we are missing equipment from our old house and that he needs money before installing our new one. The thing is ...is that they were asking for equipment from 2 houses back and we couldn't have had the epuipment from out last house unless they had replaced it the last time......Im over Comcast and will NEVER use them again!!!!
