Electrolux Complaint - Electrolux Kitchen Appliances
AUGUSTA, GEORGIA -- April 2009 we updated our kitchen with all Electrolux Appliances from Lowes. The first time I cleaned the oven the porcelain peeled from the bottom of the oven. Lowe's replaced the oven. Checked the cleaning function and again, the bottom peeled. The bottom of the oven was replaced and have not had any more problems with oven.
Refrigerator - no ice - when it does produce it's less than 2# in 24 hours. Have had a couple "update" kits installed but continue to have the problem. Hopefully we will be receiving another kit to solve the problem.
Dishwasher - error message twice and have been waiting for 5 weeks to get the part replaced through Lowes extended warranty. The service center has been RUDE, they answer the phone and leave it silent for ten minutes once I identify myself. All I want to know is when to expect the parts to be sent. Now we are going for the Lemon Law, this piece of junk needs to be replaced.
Last but not least, these appliances are VERY EXPENSIVE, supposed to be top of the line but are proving to be junk. Much less expensive appliances out perform Electrolux.
Thinking of buying Electrolux, think again - unless you can accept that your appliances have to be replaced in less than two years.
