White ivory Complaint - Fantastic product- Disgusting business practice

Review by esaltair on 2010-11-22
BOULDER, COLORADO -- I recently purchased a sample of ivory white teeth whitener for the price of shipping and handling $4.98. little did I see the fine print that they were also sending the same sample as a full treatment package for $74.50 which was deducted from my checking account at the same time for the free sample. I wasn't and still not happy with the money deducted from my account. I did however try the product and was totally blown away with the results. it was fantastic. there go my confusion....why would a company knowingly mis-represent a great product and risk losing satisfied customers for a 1 time chance to steal money? I will never buy this product from Ivory White till the day I die and I will ALWAYS discourage any and all who I ever hear wanting to buy their product........

How are they misrepresenting themselves, when it's in the fine print about automatic monthly shipments?

It just comes down to you MUST always read the fine print anytime you order anything on line. It can save someone a lot of headaches later on, if they know exactly what they are getting themselves into.

if it's free
you wouldn't have to give them your credit card number

The checking account information was given for the shipping and handling. I can see how the OP was tricked. You really have to go over these offers carefully before giving out account numbers.

If it was really free there would be no shipping and handling fee. The fine print is not there to look good, you have to read it. Never, never, never, never give any company your checking account number.

I think the problem with offers like this is that people assume they will get a chance to use the sample before committing to further shipments. They don't realize that the first shipment is sent out simultaneously with the sample. Hopefully, most people only make this mistake once.

There is always a s/h charge on free offers. That doesn't mean the item isn't free.

yeah i agree. fine print. well there wasn't any fine print to read. but it was a lesson learned. like i said. for a 1 time fee they lost a life time customer. i will NEVER recommend their product to ANYONE
