Comcast Corporation Complaint - What Customer Service?
In September 2010, my husband, roommate, and I moved into our first apartment. We had already set up an appointment a week earlier to have the internet set up on moving day at 12:15pm. The technician was approximately 20 minutes late. No big deal. Since that time we have had nothing but problems with our Comcast internet. Our internet goes down 2-3, sometimes even 4-5, times a day; EVERYDAY! After a few months of this, I finally got sick of it. So, I called customer service, at 3 of their corporate numbers and once at the local number. Each and every time, I got an automated system. This system asked, "I understand you need technical support. Please tell me what you need help with." How do you tell a machine what your problem is?! So I hung up, and called again, and again, and again. Not once did I get a person! I would have been happy with someone from India if that was the case; but instead I got a machine.
I called the local number, and a person did answer, but they "couldn't hear us" so they said they would call back. They didn't. Still haven't. Called again, and got the machine.
How can Comcast have you dial 2 for Customer Service when they don't have any? I intend to switch from Comcast and never look back. I suggest you do the same. Because when you do have a problem(with them, you will!), there will be no one to help you.
