CVS Complaint - CVS Aliso Viejo LOST my prescription
ALISO VIEJO, CALIFORNIA -- It's ridiculous what customer service has gotten down to these days. I went to the doctor on Monday for a bronchial infection and the doctor faxed over the prescription at 2:13pm. I got to CVS by 2:30pm and they had no record of it. I asked the doctor to call it in again at 2:45pm and finally CVS found it and filled it at 3:15pm. HOWEVER, turns out they only filled one of the prescriptions and didn't give me the antibiotics I needed. So here I am two days later still coughing and a little worse so I call my doctor again and he says I should have been on antibiotics! Do you know how livid I am that I am just the patient and communication is clearly not happening between the two? So I go back to CVS, they claim no knowledge of the additional antibiotic prescription, I have them call the doctor, etc. etc. and finally they fill it. Give me a break. Imagine if someone really needed their medicine right away only to have to track down their own prescription between doctor and pharmacy? Though I will grant the CVS pharmacy staff were helpful, they clearly are too busy to be accurate and that is disturbing. They were so busy there they could hardly breathe and they were filling bottles with pills and talking on phones at the same time......a deadly mistake is just waiting to happen.
I am transferring to Walgreens immediately (I have now had TWO DOCTORS tell me not to use CVS)
