T-Mobile Complaint - Slide Of Hand Ripoff Beware Of This Trick
ALBUQUERQUE, NEW MEXICO -- We've been with T-Mobile for several years. But after how we've been treated recently, it appears that doesn't seem to matter too much. It is really great that our contract is up in March of 2011. You can bet we won't be sticking around and will find another company to patronize.
What happened? Well oddly enough, two of the five phones on our family plan failed to work for a couple of days. T-Mobile fixed the problem and then offered to give us a 30 day Free Trial accessing the internet on our phone.
I brushed it off as a gesture of goodwill, something we wouldn't use anyway. Which we didn't do.
On the following billing cycle we were horrified to find out that they billed each of the five phones for this internet access. The snotty girl on the phone wouldn't budge. We never used the silly offer and they ripped us off for the extra $50+. The snotty girl told us that we were supposed to tell them to turn it off before the next billing cycle. this was never disclosed and she claimed that we used the service.
Well, we've sent our complaint to the FCC for this underhanded scheme. And they have lost our business after being with them for over 12 years. Can't wait for March, because we will be gone!
