E Counters, Sensa Complaint - Sensa Granite Not As Described, E Counters Problem

Review by lcmd on 2010-11-27
The "sensa granite" stained 48 hrs after installation, possibly from a plate with some salad oil on the bottom. E Counters used a local company who did not use "sensa granite" as there were no identifying marks on the bottonm for sensa granite on the bottom, per the sensa manufacturers.

The local company did not need to seal it on site, per Sensa, but they did, again indicating it was not likely Sensa granite,.

E Counters later said it was Sensa granite because a Sensa approved sealant was applied. E Counters did inadequate quality control of the local company and refused to take responsibility for paying for the repainting needed post re-installation nor for several weeks of lost rental income. They also now say it is stain resistant and can happen again.

I would use a local contractor for kitchen counter tops. That way I could be directly involved in quality control for the product I was purchashing.
