Turkeezrus Complaint - Turkeezrus **Not Reliable**Poor To No Service**

I searched the internet for a company that offered fried Turkey T'day dinners that could be delivered to my home. I came upon a company called, Turkeezrus an affiliate of Sweet Teas C&B. Since some of the reviews for Sweet Teas were favorable, I thought I would give their affiliate a try.

I made a $170.20 purchase on 11/22/2010 at 4:21:47 AM EST directly from http://www.turkeezrus.com. What a big mistake!!! I tried calling the company later that same day to confirm that my order went through and that there would not be any problems. Well, I spoke with a woman who said that she was on her way to the store and would call me once she got there to verify my order. She never called back, so I called her again the very next day 11/23/10. I again spoke with the same woman who apologized for not calling me back and said that my order was received and is being processed and is on schedule for delivery for 11/24/10.

Well, the night before T'day (11/24/10) @7p my UPS driver came through the neighborhood but when I stopped him, he advised that he had no delivery for me. WOW!!! UNBELIEVABLE! Here I am w/out T'day dinner for the following day! I called Turkeezrus and got no answer! I immediately called my bank and disputed the charge.

Later that night (approx. 9p) I get a call from Turkeezrus delivery driver stating that they are trying to complete their deliveries but they have been stuck in traffic and wanted to know if it would be ok with me for them to delivery my T'day dinner the next day (on T'day!)

What a Joke!!!!! By that time I had gone to the neighborhood Walmart and purchase some things to try and throw together a T'day dinner that didn't seem thrown together!

Funny I could never reach the owner, but after I told the delivery driver what a HORRIBLE experience I had with their business and that I will share it with ALL who would listen...Lo & Behold-the owner calls me and leaves a message of apology and a promise to refund my money which I yet to receive, but I will followup on it!!!!

Turkeezrus I will NEVER forget the problems you caused me!!!!

I am confused by your timeline. When exactly did you order the turkey? You say you ordered the 23rd, called the next day, the woman never called back, then you called her back the NEXT day, and it was the 24th. Is there a day missing in there?

I also can't believe you stopped the UPS driver.

There is no one I know of whom will take an order over the internet for delivery two days later. I don't care where they are in relation to you. The fastest delivery promise I have seen is Fingerhut. If you order online you can order by 12/20, and if by phone, you can order by 12/22 for delivery before Christmas day. But ordering on 11/23 for delivery before 11/25, I don't think so.

I'm surprised Toys R Us hasn't sued them. They've sued other companies trying to use the "r us" theme.

I actually made my order to Turkeezrus on 11/22/2010 at 4:21:47 AM EST order #10080 (I went back and checked my receipt). On 11/24/10, the UPS driver was delivering two houses over when I walked over to him and asked if he had a delivery for my address. He check and answered, "No m'am, I don't."

Crystal and I started a business selling knives, swords and such, and we called our little business the Sharp Shack. We got a letter from some attorney speaking for Tandy Corp. ordering us to cease and desist "diluting the trademark of Radio Shack."

My posting comments regarding my experience with Turkeezrus has resulted in me being referred to as "mean and nasty." All I did was shared with others about my experience and I was accused of "trashing" the company....WOW!

Please read the apology I received from the owner of Turkeezrus:

We see you are going out of your way to ignore the facts and continue to post online. After issuing an apology and letting you know our situation, you seem to be convinced that trashing our company is the right way to rectify this all.

Yes you received horrible service, and we cannot apologize enough for that. However, there is not one company whose customer service and fulfillment would not be affected by thousands of calls and emails flooding in - no warning to them.

Its one thing to have to seek legal counsel, and unfortunately consider for the first time losing our life savings and business due to a ridiculous blunder by a LARGE company like TIPPR. It is is quite another to see that one person is literally going out of their way to be as mean and nasty as they can, even after knowing the facts.

As you enjoy the holidays and think about your blessings, I truly hope you know, our company did not intentionally set out to:
1. not answer your calls
2. chose to hand deliver your food instead of sending it via UPS.

I can't think of what else happened, because we didn't even get the chance to deliver it. Sorry if I missed something else we did, but deal with the hand dealt to us.

Please look for your refund.

Well written review. Thanks. They should not have taken an order they could not deliver on time.
The letter seems an attempt at damage control. It would have been better if they offered you something (one for Christmas) in return aside from a lame response.

I am with you I kenya as I had the same experienc. And this lady thinks she can sweet talk her way out of things. You or I are not the only one that they have done this to. So I am glad you are making everyone aware of the way they do business at this place.
