MAGNOLIA, TEXAS -- Hi, I joined Golds Gym in Magnolia tx over a year ago. About one year ago we moved to Riverview Fl. I was told by the gym that because I had moved more than 25 miles away and there is no gym in Riverview they would cancel my contract. I contacted the company and they said to send my Florida drivers license as proof of new address and they would cancel it. I did this in December 09. Golds Gym has continued to take money out of my account for a year now. I contacted them again and they said they had not received the first letter from me, so I sent it again with my Florida Drivers license. Now they are sending me payment forms (with my new address on them) They agree that they have received the drivers license and that I live 25 miles away but they are saying because my license is a year old, it is not a new address now and they can't cancel it!!!!!! I live thousands of miles from the gym, this is crazy... can anyone help me with this....
