RESPONSE (Unitrin) Insurance Complaint - Companys that lie for profit

I changed my banking accounts to another institution and after calling RESPONSE and MANUALLY paying a premium and giving the agent all of my personal account information to continue with auto-pay as I have for the last 4-years. They said nothing about needing a voided check (after all, I just gave them all the info they needed to debit my bank account) and they did NOT send any forms for signature... am I a mind reader that I'm supposed to know what THEY need? Anyway, without so much as a how do you do they turn around and cancel my policy. Now with 4-years of not opening any printed mail, with exception of my semi-annual policy, this because everything was done with email, I wasn't even looking for a written communication from them, but one was never received anyway. To make a long story short, they charged ME a fee for THEM to cancel my policy and then offered me a NEW POLICY under new payment terms and DOUBLED MY PREMIUM because they screwed up, not me. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY...They think because they are part of the billion dollar insurance scam in this country that they can do as they please.
