FLORIDA -- I purchased a box set of movies from Hotmoviesale.com and nowhere did I read the $9.99 per month membership fee that they were going to charge my Visa account!! I have been charged since March 2010 it is now November! I called the so called company that most likely consists of 3 people sitting at home SCAMMING people!! They would only refund 3 of the membership fee's .. They do this because they know if you report them to your credit card company they can only give you back 2 months of a billing period if you dispute a charge!! I hope these people are out of business very soon! There is a man named "JOHNNY" who is the most unprofessional and uneducated person I have ever dealt with ! (he is a supervisor) (supposedly)...what a joke..Don't ever get scammed like this! I will only order from sites that are well known from now on!! They think they are going to get rich on stupid people like me!! We as consumers will never buy anything from them again,,,so who's the real loser??? You shouldn't have to be an attorney to purchase a movie online..they send you 10 pages of terms to read, that would take longer to read than t watch an entire movie I ordered!!

There have been other complaints on this site about this. I went to the website, it clearly shows 2 prices for each item, Your Price and Member Price, the Member (first clue) Price being cheaper (second clue). If you want the Member Price, you click on the link and a Pop-up comes up and states the terms which is 19.95 month (third clue). At that point, if you don't want the membership, you click on "No Thanks". Your Price is no cheaper than anywhere else so I wouldn't pay that either. I don't see where this is a scam since they do tell what you are signing up for before you are signed up for it and before giving them your payment info. I don't see the 9.99 amount you were being charged. You need to use your credit cards wisely and check every month for charges that you don't agree with. If you had seen it right away, you could have gotten it stopped and gotten your first months money back.

Yeah I almost bought a movie from that site before, than I READ what the terms were before accepting, and decided against it. And it is certainly not their fault it took the OP 8 months to realize they were getting charged monthly. Is the site a little slickly designed to possibly catch people like the OP here off guard? It may be-while it was clear to me, it sure seems to make plenty of people angry, and thats just those who bother to complain on this 1 website.
