Midwest Airlines Complaint - flight change fees

Review by GTOGramma on 2005-03-21
MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN -- We needed to change our return flight from Tuesday morning to Monday evening. Besides charging the $50/each change fee, they charged the difference in ticket fare also. The flight ended up costing us more than the original tickets, minus the $100 change fee. When I asked if the difference would have been to our credit, would we have been given the credit, she said no.

You opted to take a more expensive flight so why complain? Even if it was the same route, there are price differences and you opted to take a more expensive fare.

Well if you read your ticket it will say right on your ticket it will cost you extra money to switch your ticket. And yes it usually costs the same if not more to switch it. Just like if you buy a ticket the same day. Its expensive.
