Ocean Sky Chinese American Restaurant Compliment - Excellent Chinese Food

Review by Starlord on 2010-12-03
CHEHALIS, WASHINGTON -- We decided this evening to eat at the Ocean Sky restaurant in Chehalis, WA, as we had been referred by a friend. Our friend was spot on. We were greeted when we arri and were seated at a booth and quickly supplied with glasses of ice water and a pot of hot tea. The tea was full-bodied, and not the typical slightly tinted water. I ordered the Fried Shrimp, Pork Chow Mein, Pork Fried Rice and Sweet and Sour Chicken. We were each brought a cup of Egg Flower Soup, and it was the best I have ever eaten. It had a full chicken stock base with clouds of egg, and corn, pieces of chicken, peas and bamboo shoots.. The waiter arrived shortly with our orders, and I thought that there had been a mistake, and the dinner was for four (lol). Everything was excellent. Crystal had the Beef Fried Rice and commented on how delicious it was. When I first looked at the menu, I felt it was a bit pricey, but on seeing the food, I realized the price was well within reasonable limits. We will have the rest for lunch tomorrow, LOL. If you ever get to Chehalis, go to 601 N, National Ave. Your taste buds will thank you.
