Gold's Gym International, Inc Complaint - Fraudulent Business Practices, Unfair Service

I used to live in Waynesboro 1 mile away from this gym. I would run to the gym almost every day and it was convenient for me. I moved to Gettysburg, which is about 40 minutes away and they would NOT let me out of my contract! They said even though I live 22.8 miles away I need to be 25 miles away! Please tell me how that is convenient for my schedule to travel that far?!?!? They are calling me and leaving messages every day now. Beware when you sign up here no matter what you do you will be stuck paying them and being harassed by them! You can't transfer the membership, even though I have a friend that got injured and transferred they would not let me. There is no cancellation fee to get out you must pay the remaining months. Even if you are pregnant or injured they will still make you go. So I cancelled my card. I tried to speak to the manager and called there many times or set up an appointment and they kept lying to me saying he was not available even though I KNOW he is there he is just a prick, everyone there is rude! And yes like others say these people are NOT normal.

All the employees I liked there quit. 4 in the 4 months I was going? I wonder why? Maybe because the people that run it are full of sh*t. You have to die to be able to get out of this contract! go somewhere else they suck!
