Dishnetwork Informative - Get everything in writing

I have had a total run around from Dishnetwork and would like to warn others. First Autopay is a total joke. They just keep billing you no matter what. I called on 11-15 to cancel on the 23rd (end of my bill cycle) The guy is 'customer loyalty' cancelled it immediately. I called on the 22nd to find out why I didn't have service as I had been out of town. He asked if I wanted to reactivate the account since the first guy had cancelled it on the 15th. I stated no as cable was being installed the next day. They wouldn't give me a credit for the 15-23 so I figured ok. Now I get auto billed for December. I disputed it with the CC company. I did call Dish and they said I agreed to reactivate my service? Yeah right. After 19 yrs I've had enough.
I implore you to get every customer 'id' # and ask for an e mail confirmation. The CSD just do what they want to do and they put anything they want in their notes so you have no defense. I can also suggest to you that you can sue them in small claims court by going online to your secretary of state and find who there 'agent' is in your state. Then you can serve their agent. They either have to appear or you will get a call from an attorney offering a settlement. Good luck.
