Cambell's Chunky Soup Complaint - Where's The Beef? - Cambell's Slow Roasted Beef Chunky Soup

Review by stillhungry on 2010-12-03
CENTRE, ALABAMA -- I am a frequent consumer of Cambell's Chunky soups and always felt somewhat satisfied after eating a can. I recently tried the new slow roasted beef. Although there were a generous portion of mushrooms and a buttload of potatoes as usual, I found myself searching for meat. I'm an amateur bodybuilder and it's important for me to know how much protein I'm putting in my body. Unfortunately, I could only rustle up about 4 small cubes of tasteless beef out of the portion that I tried. I know the average amount of protein in all of Cambell's beef soups usually have about 16 grams of protein.

So, if I only ate about 4 or 5 small pieces of beef out of a 2 portion can, where is the other 12 grams of protein coming from?

On the soup can, there is a label that spells out exactly how much protein there is in each serving of the soup. Without your own lab, that's all you can go by.
