Alaniz Complete Service Complaint - Stay Away! Incompetent and inefficient

MESQUITE, TEXAS -- I have been terribly dissatisfied with the service or competency of this company and its employees. The trouble started in August when I get a perfectly working quite efficient AC unit with a new more efficient one but I've ever since regretted that decision. The reason? Alaniz & Co. This is the worst service company I've ever dealt with. First they are incompetent. When they insatlled the unit they miswired the thermostat and burned the compressor. Luckily, the compressor had a safety feature that shuts it off in such instances and it wasn't totally lost but we had to saty an August Texas night (>100degrees) without AC. Even then, they had to make several trips and even use another compny's help to get the system properly working. I thought everything is fine but I was surprised this past week when the weather cooled down and tried to heat up the house. the thermostat swith doesn't turn the heating function. I suspect that the wiring is not right and I called them to come look at it. The gave me an appointment for Satuday and I have been at home the whole day- nobody showed up and they don't pick-up their phone- probably they close the office on Saturday's. So, you be the judge. They don't seem to know what they are doing, they don't address requests properly and on-time, they don't even make a courtesy phone call when they miss appointments, etc. I don't even undertsand how such a business can even be in business.
