MINNESOTA -- We had several problems with the bunk bed we purchased from Slumberland Furniture. I could understand missing some hardware, but when the support that holds the mattress up broke and my son fell 6 feet my patients went right out the door. After I contacted the store they inspected the rail system and realized that the factory never glued the two pieces and the screws were broke from over tightening. Several new ones came in but none of them fit my bed. I found the bunk bed company on the Internet and was told that Slumberland in an effort to save money only buys the seconds and rejects and that's why the replacements didn't fit. What else does this company do to save money? Would they sell me returned mattress as a new one? How about knowingly sell me a sofa with a frame that was broke and then repaired? Do they save money by not running back ground checks on the delivery people that come into my home? I have learned a lesson that I hope you never have to.
