Birch telecom Complaint - paying phone bill - online bill paying

MISSOURI -- SO frustrating trying to contact Birch customer service to find out about billing details.
We were being billed for services already paid for.
The problem...after paying our phone bill over the internet by elec draft with this company, starting in January 2005 our checks were not going thru not even 'hitting' the bank.
Could we get anyone to help us at Birch? NO!
No one was interested in helping finding out why our elec payments were not being processed and submitted to our bank. the only answer the customer service person could give me was the checks were 'returned to Birch' with the error message of return to orgin? Our bank was not even being presented with the checks to pay them.
After one year of using the same information and successfully paying our phone bill all of a sudden the payments were not going thru. Did Birch find this strange? NO..Did I get any help at all from Birch trying to resolve this problem? NO!! Could customer service verify what bank info they had on record for me?> No..they did let me read the numbers to them and yes they were all correct!
Now our checks which were valid and we do have the money in the acct for payments are no longer any good with this company!
TERRIBLE Customer service from this company!!
