General Electric Company Complaint - Reptitive chronic failures of GE refrigerator
We purchased a GE Profile refrigerator in July, 2006 based on Consumer Reports recommendations. After three years it began failing. First we were told an "ice ball kit" was needed. Then the motherboard failed. Then a thermister failed. Then six more motherboards. Now the tech advises that a piece of foam be installed behind the thermister to prevent ice build-up and to remove three of the motherboard mounting screws to prevent motherboard shorting. This appliance is junk. I vehemently advise everyone to avoid GE products at all costs. I also recommend that everyone avoid Consumer Reports for recommending junk. I am also contact the States Attorney Consumer Protection Division. I will blog and post this story on every site I can locate on behalf of all the consumers who have been burned by GE executives. Anyone who works for GE ought to be ashamed to be affiliated with them.
