cancer policy

My husband and I purchased Aflac cancer policies in 2000. In 2006 my husband was diagnosed with Lymphoma. He submitted the paper work authenticating the diagnosis and we were paid a check in about a week that was over $5000.00. This was to cover ANY expenses that would be out of pocket, during his treatment. During the treatment, he kept copies of everything and submitted all bills to the agent. We did have trouble with the agent misplacing paperwork, but we kept resending it. And always were reimbursed. We finally went to the agents supervisor and complained and got the regional office to take our claims. Eventually we found it easier to submit them direct to the Columbus headquarters.
I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2009, in a week we received over $5000.00 again. We continued to submit our claims to the Columbus office and were reimbursed in a timely manner.
We are very pleased with the cancer policies. They have lived up to what they sold us!
