Ballys Total Fitness 231 Street In The Bronx Complaint - Beware Of Your Belongings

Review by Chicki on 2010-12-10
On December 4, 2010 I was exercising at Bally's at the 9:30am class. 15 minutes prior to the end of the class we were told by the instructor Kim to check the lockers because there had been a burglary. Three of the women's lockers were broken into and all the stuff was stolen. My worry is how can I attend this gym and where do I store my stuff if the locker room and lockers are not safe. There is always a staff member there but apparently she did not hear or see anything. Ballys has to address this issue with priority if this company wants their customers to continue to support their business.

suggest a fanny pack and bring it into the class. Obviously leaving most everything at home is the best suggestion.

Do the lockers have the ability to be locked with a padlock--preferably one you bring from home? That would be the second best option to leaving everything unnecessary at home. Another option would be to put everything not absolutely vital in the trunk of your car (and then lock the car).
