MetroPCS Complaint - By far one of the worst companies I've ever had to deal with.
DALLAS, TEXAS -- Was next to impossible to activate the phone once I bought it from Best Buy. Not Best Buys fault. MetroPCS tech finally gave up and told me to take phone back to Best Buy. The next day, phone service was working so I gave it a few weeks to try out. Drove to Delaware and service stopped working. Called customer service and they told me I was supposed to do a *228 before I left my house for Delaware. Never heard of such a process for using a cell phone in the northeast region. Whole time in Delaware no service. They would not honor the rebate for the Blackberry phone even though I met all the requirements. That was the last straw. I am done with Metro PCS. Their customer service folks are the least knowledgeable I have ever spoken with regarding cell service and phones. Just trying to get to speak with a live person is a challenge. Listen to a bunch of nonsense first then we will transfer you to an agent who has no clue. STAY AWAY FROM METROPCS. They will also not work with you via email. By phone only.
