Jacket (wrong size) Motorcycle cover (wrong size and cheap plastic) - Complaint
Review by Drexel Lake on 2010-12-10
THEFT CITY, CALIFORNIA -- My complaint is along the same lines as many others. I contacted them prior to purchasing and told them my size. They recommended I order one size up which I did and the jacket was still too small. My wife and I own and alterations and Tailoring company so we know how to measure and proper sizing. We measured several areas and all but one were short by at least two inches. They say send it back. We took several pictured of the measurement due to the rude snotty nature from the customer service representative during our phone calls and after reading the hundreds of bad reviews out there about these CROOKS.

They get the jacket back and tell us it meats all measurements exactly. We sent the pictures and a letter to Master Card and they found in our favor and returned our money and hit leatherthrowup.com with a charge back fee. Gotta love it!

The motorcycle cover is and XXL and it doesn't even cover my wife's 800cc Suzuki. It's also made of cheap plastic so it is non breathable which is death to your motorcycle.

After some research I found that most of their leather products come from countries that support terrorism against Americans. BEWARE. TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUN LIKE HELL AWAY FROM THESE CRIMINALS!!!!!!!

You really should do the research beforehand. In this case, it would have saved you a lot of trouble. I'm glad you got your money back.

If you indeed do tailoring, you should be aware that other countries, where your jacket was made use a different size system, and most Asian products run very small. This is the prime reason I refuse to purchase clothing or shoes online. I prefer to be able to examine products and try them on, then if it doesn't fit, I have no one to blame but my own silly self.
