QVC, Inc. Complaint - QVC sells fake jewelry
I just read a complaint written by another person regarding Qvc jewelry and I had the exact same thing happen to me today. I took some of my gold and silver jewelry to a very reputable gold and coin exchange that was recommended to me by several people and I was SHOCKED when the jewelry examiner told me that my Qvc jewelry that was "supposed" to be 18k gold and 925 sterling was actually only PLATED. All of the pieces were stamped 18k and 925 sterling. The gold and coin exchange went through a very specific process to determine the authenticity of the jewelry and I feel that they were very honest. they gave me $550.00 for the pieces that did not come from Qvc and just handed back the pieces from Qvc and said they couldn't accept them. the gold and coin exchange would not benefit in any way by turning away real gold and silver pieces. they did not try to give me a few dollars for the Qvc pieces. they simply said they couldn't accept them. I had several pieces from Qvc and needless to say I got ripped off. I will never patronize Qvc again.
