TracFone Compliment - Love the SVC from Tracfone
I have been very aware of all the attention cell phones get for some time now, and have come to realize that if I don't want to be left behind, I'd better jump on the bandwagon soon. Be that as it may, you can't (easily) teach an old dog new tricks, so I knew I would never really need very many minutes per month. My grandson was telling me about Tracfone-the company my daughter got him a phone through, and it sounded perfect for keeping your monthly costs down, as well as for trying out something new (as there is no contract and the phone is really inexpensive). The saleslady suggested I try the Senior Value Cellphone, Which is a Samsung (I forget the number) that flips open to make a call. I really like that it's small, as I can easily carry it with me. I have no problem with reading what's on the screen and should my hearing get worse with age, she told me it's compatible with a hearing aid. It has the 911 assistance and is actually relatively simple to operate, with basic yes and no answers. I only ever need to plug it in about once a fortnight, so it's not an inconvenient gadget to use.
I love that I don't get a bill and only have to pay for what I need every three months, meaning it's costing me under $7/month!
My daughter bought me a card that doubles all my minutes every time I buy more, which I think is a lovely idea for stretching them. I don't think I would have gone ahead with getting a phone if it had cost me more than $20 a month, but at $7, what's there to loose? Nice that the lower using section of the public is being served.
