Wesley Chapel Toyota Complaint - Stay Away - New car purchase

New car purchase - Complaint
Review by crombie on 2010-12-12
WESLEY CHAPEL, FLORIDA -- STAY AWAY! All bling. Need a manicure? Need a massage? Probably a great place to get one, but don't be fooled. YOU are paying for these services AND their supposed "Lifetime Warranty". Their customer service sucks. Their sales department needs lessons on customer service techniques and needs to attend classes on each one of their cars so they know what they come with.

Give me a break! Service is no better. RUN somewhere else fast.....

Did you buy a car there? What specifically was inadequate in the training of the salespeople? Do they really offer manicures and massages?

My car place, Jones Nissan, does offer free manicures and massages (odd, I know). It's something that is used to keep customers happy if there is long wait times, I think ^_^

Is that right? My car dealer wouldn't sharpen my pencil for me.

In my local area, I have seen the local Toyota commercial that offer manicure and massages and I thought that was luxurious.

MRM, yeah..that's where my sister bought her last car.

I don't know anything about a massage or manicure but locally if the wait will be long a customer is offered a ride home, back to the office or to the local mall. The customer will be picked up quickly at the agreed time or earlier if called. Since loaner cars are not available anymore many dealerships are doing the best they can.

I'm concerned with proper service on my car. What exactly happened at that particular dealership crombie?

Nohandle, Jones offers loaner cars... Is this something new that car places aren't offering them anymore?

A few might still to select customers Mrs.V, but it's my understanding due to insurance liability it was discontinued. It certainly is not advertised as a service. I'm generally not comfortable driving someone else's vehicle.

Crombie - I am sorry if you had a bad experience with us. We do our best to try and make every customer feel like they have found their family dealership! We are not perfect 100% of the time, and I am guessing we made a mistake with you. For that I apologize. Having manicures, massages, coffee, cookies, comfortable chairs and T.V.'s does not add anything to our prices. It does not cost us much in the long run, and is just our way of trying to make you as comfortable as possible while you wait for servicing your vehicle. Since we put the Lifetime Warranty on so many vehicles, we get it for such a reduced price that it also does not affect the bottom line. I promise you we are as competitive as the rest of the Toyota dealerships in the Tampa Bay area. We all get our cars from the same place. We stand out because of our excellent customer service. Look on Google, and you will see happy customers taking time out of their day to write us tons of excellent review! We have 3x as many as the next Tampa dealer, and that number is only going to get bigger. Because we treat people right and take care of our customers. Something we see as simple and common sense, but most dealers miss the boat on. So if you are in the market for a new vehicle, I challenge you to give us a chance. You will see why we have so many raving fans. Because we put the customer first. - John Williams, Internet Director of Wesley Chapel Toyota

I am very surprised at this review - I have been there today and bought a new Sienna and had a brilliant experience.
Mike Pelletier was superb and PJ very helpful.
We would recommend this dealer very highly

I have bought four cars from Toyota before in different dealers with a good experience as well, but I used to feel very stressful while we were setting the deal. At Wesley Chapel Toyota i felt very comfortable and the sales person Matt Schemkes did a great job, he was very honest and lead me to make a good choice. The service was very fast and in finance manager P.J. was very professional as well with a good sense of humor. The customer service representatives were very attentive to me so definitively I would recommend this dealer to my friends and family in their future purchases.
