I don't believe they intentionally hid the mold from you. From the looks of the pictures, I'd say it was more of an oversight. That doesn't excuse the fact that the establishment had moldy tortillas, but to insinuate they did it on purpose is a pretty hefty accusation.

Yep, there is absolutely mold there. It may not have been intentional. Did you catch this while you were there, and ask for a replacement?

Eating out is riskier than at home. Unfortunately there isn't always the same attention to detail you would use. I do it less than I used to.

I'd let the main office know about this. Call Jack himself. Since the big issue in 1993 where tainted meat was sold, and lives were lost, they are very proactive on getting things fixed. I think if you call the main HQ and tell them this they will jump on that franchise owner quickly. Jack in the box learned the hard way back then to watch the quality control. so today they move real fast on issues like that. but only if people call the HQ and let them know.

Contact their corporate office, and let them know about the mold incident.
