Comcast Corporation Complaint - Fleecing Americans
6251 COMMERCE PARK DRIVE, FORT MYERS, FL 33966-478, FLORIDA -- Comcast is nothing more or nothing less than a One-Armed Bandit; they are as common and typical as your slot machine found in any casino across our Nation. Comcast boast of their customer service but as long are the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur that’s how far they are from truly achieving great customer service. What it is, is that what I have noticed over the years from service providers (Cable, Water, Electric, Cell Phone) are they believe they have reached a pinnacle in their companies and they could care less what their customers have to say about them. This allows them to intentionally and repeatedly rob their customers without remorse because they know they are too powerful to be changed by anyone and this is sad and truly an atrocious and deliberate crime against hard working Americans, the Penal Code should address this urgently. I live in Fort Myers, FL. and went and had a HD DVR Recorder installed and guess what, I brought it home plugged it in and not to my surprise it didn’t work. I called Comcast and not to my surprise again they had no clue what to do and their response is always taken from customer representative queue cards. I had a tech come out and spend about 45 mins. trying to diagnose and fix the problem which they did but that wasn’t the last of my problems with the money shredder called Comcast. The HD DVR’s that Comcast give their customers are as archaic as the dinosaurs and I had endless problems with recording programs such as the program wouldn’t record when scheduled, other problems were constant picture distortion which still exist this very moment. Other issues are their programming, they love to repeat the same programs over and over again, they purposely put all the crappy channels on your basic subscription and then they charge you an arm and a leg for that, WOW! I called Comcast repeatedly and their customer representative attitudes are pretty typical who cares kind of attitude; maybe that is part of their queue cards also.
I got highly frustrated with the DVR and took it back and not to my surprise they took it from me and it didn’t even concern them one iota whether I was a satisfied customer or not, even when I pronounced my dissatisfaction it didn’t even phase them to want to retain my business, I guess it’s nice to have that much money that a company doesn’t even give a crap whether a customer of theirs is satisfied or not but that is a very typical behavior from customer service providers today. COMCAST! Keep up the great service you provide us customers, we enjoy handing over our hard earned cash over to a bunch of heartless crooks, maybe your CEO should go undercover in the company and make some much needed changes.
